Aspen forests are a favorite subject of mine. The form and texture of these trees have a unique appeal. An aspen forest is one living organism connected with a root structure. The largest living organism in the world is a forest like this in Colorado. In this case the fresh snow added another interesting element and the close view provided the texture and form I wanted to capture. |
