Aspen and Mountain Maple in autumn, Caribou Mountains, south east Idaho, c42

The mountain Maple trees in east Idaho turn a bright red in autumn. East and south east Idaho are the only places in the state that have these Maple forests. Nest to the white aspen trunk, the colors nicely compliment each other and three lines of Maple leaves makes for a good balance. It's comfortable to look at yet alive because of the deep color.
