Idaho, east, Swan Valley and south fork of Snake River in autumn, #dt334
Although not well known for autumn color, east Idaho can be spectacular. Here the south fork of the Snake River winds its way through Swan Valley. The Cottonwood forests along the river are being preserved to retain the natural habitat for bald eagles, other wildlife and to retain the natural character of the land. This stretch of the Snake River is world renowned for fly-fishing. |
