The snow melts away earlier in spring on the west side of the Beaverhead Range in east central Idaho. Here the Lemhi Range can be seen in the distance still snow capped and lit with reflected sunrise light. Decades of travel in Idaho have allowed me to learn where the best image potential might be as the seasons change. Nature cooperated during this trip and I was able to create the image I was visualizing. I specialize in scenic landscapes and when I succeed in capturing a landscape photograph like this it's rewarding. |
