Idaho, Arrowleaf Balsamroot in Cache National Forest, dr56
Exotic locations aren't always necessary to create great images and landscape art. This is in the Caribou Mountains near my home. A hillside covered in Arrowleaf Balsamroot in these beautiful rolling hills covered with end of the day light seems to me to be as perfect as it can get. The blooms flutter in the breeze a little which shows in the image adding a little real earth feel. Bright sunsets and sunrises reflect warm even light on the landscape. It's Very pleasant for the eyes. |
